If We Ever Find The Heaven

02:53

Lyrics

I drive the familiar streets to our favourite places
I sit across the cosy café where we used to meet
I walk through the urban park to pick you flowers
And arrange in a vase that you left behind

You left me here, but you can always find me near

I stare at the lonely chair at the dinner table
One minus one’s love is a lonesome sound

I write you messages from a poor man’s poet
A nightly ritual that I hide in a drawer
So desperate for refuge, I turn to divination
The urge for insight to blanket the pain

You left me here, but you can always find me near
If we ever find the heaven, will we ever be together
